Ugandan “Rapper” Richard Tumukunde helps with our Mission.
In September 2007 a coffee morning was held at the Riversiide Project in Canterbury run by Kent Refugee Action Network, a Kent based Charity that looks after Refugees and Asylum Seekers.
Richard Tumukunde fro Mbarara on South Western Uganda came along and gave us his moving testimony and delighted us all with his music and his very personal ”Rap” style of presentation.
We are very grateful to Kran Staff of Gwen and Wendy who made is all possible and the young Asylum Seeking Children who helped so much with the cooking.
With sales of Ugandan Tea and local made crafts some £110.00 was raised which will go to providing housing for our “Double Orphans” in the village of Bucenci
